Turnaround of the Heart

Can we boldly declare our despair to God? Does the Bible give us examples of what to do with negative human feelings and emotions such as anger, fear, frustration, anxiety, depression, desire to retaliate, bewilderment, guilt, and doubt? Yes and yes. Psalm is chock full of hurting men who desperately cry out directly to God, expressing their raw emotions. This forthright communication results in something beautiful… a turnaround of the heart.

Today, I’m guest blogging for my friend Kellie over at Mentoring Moments for Christian Women.  You can click HERE to read the rest of the story.

Mentoring Moments for Christian Women provides articles and podcasts to encourage woman. It was co-founded by my friends Kellie Renfroe and Loi Palmer and I in 2005. The three of us met in our mutual home business Creative Memories and shared an immediate bond in Christ. We discovered we had something else in common – a love of mentoring women in areas of homemaking and in their relationship with God. I still remember us meeting in Atlanta and discussing what MMCW would look like and coming up with the name. Today, with Kellie at the helm, it reaches thousands daily and is comprised of an all-volunteer staff of women from every season of life, age, and background. It’s goal is to bring glory to God.
