Rhonda Ellis

Rhonda’s journey has been full–teacher, entrepreneur, speaker, blogger, and homeschooler. Along the way, God has been preparing her to pass along a legacy of living by faith, raising children of character in a peaceful home and teaching people to love well.

John & Rhonda

thirty years of marriage and 6 kids later, these two are raising a “missional” family–each member using all their resources to pour into the lives of others. An engineer by trade and servant by heart, John is the behind-the-scenes encourager who really makes it all happen.

John III

recently graduated from the University of Florida in Mechanical Engineering along with earning an MBA. He’s passionate about investing into the lives of youth and college students, and even his younger siblings. He’s crazy about the great outdoors, adventure, and loves all things with speed.

Alexis

graduated from SCAD, Savannah College of Art and Design, and immediately took a job in advertising far from home. She has a beautiful, compassionate heart, plays piano, loves music, is a great conversationalist, creative, loves laughing and traveling, and is our family tech-guru.

Daniel

In December 2015, he found out he had cancer, graduated from UF, got engaged, and began chemotherapy. You can read our #danielkickscancer story on this blog. He loves his beautiful bride Gabi (so do we!), soccer, drumming, online buying/selling, adventure and speed. He’s a quiet leader with a gentle spirit.

Kelsey

is a sophomore at a college nine hours from home. Her party planning and organizational skills are missed by her family. She loves leading worship, playing guitar, making and serving chocolate covered everything to the girls on her dorm floor, is friendly to all, and wants all people to be included.

Laura

is a high school junior and our newest driver. She plays volleyball and basketball, enjoys reading, knows all of Lecrae’s lyrics, loves being with friends, and enjoys planning parties. She just returned from five months in Brazil–going to school, experiencing the culture, and learning Portuguese.

Heather

is a high school freshman whose hilarious acts fill the home with laughter. She’s athletic and plays competitive school volleyball, beach volleyball, and basketball. Hunting, fishing, and anything adventurous in the great outdoors is fun for her. She enjoys drums, bass guitar, and playing the keys.
