He wouldn’t have chosen this journey of cancer, but he’s thankful for it. My 22 year-old son shares his thoughts in the #danielkickscancer journey, after completing six months of chemo and beginning 20 rounds of proton therapy.

Thank you for praying for him.

I present to you, his Facebook post, some photos, a thought-provoking question, and a great video you don’t want to miss. It’s an end-of-chemo, one-song musical, celebratory video using chemo paraphernalia. Don’t miss it.

Daniel Ellis update on cancer #danielkickscancer

I’m so thankful that through this he chose to endure, learn, and lean into Jesus. #mamalike

I Corinthians 10:34-34 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

His opportunity to know God more, to put his faith into action, and to grow in amazing ways has been through this gift called Hodgkins Lymphoma that we’ve named #danielkickscancer. You have your own opportunities… your own personalized gifts from God. How will you face the difficulties in life?

We’d love to hear from you.
